Yungay Avalanche — 1970 Field Archive Mug

R$65.24

This field archive mug commemorates Incident 016: Yungay Avalanche (1970) and features a recovered verification seal from the moment a massive landslide descended from Mount Huascarán following the earthquake. Residents looked toward the mountain as snow and rock surged into the valley beneath collapsing slopes. The town disappeared beneath the advancing mass within minutes as Jonah Days documented the descending avalanche from the outskirts. The antique brass medallion design resembles an official clearance marker stamped after timeline entry, indicating that time traveler Jonah Days witnessed, recorded, and survived the avalanche as civilians ran toward higher terrain beneath the descending wall of ice and rock.

Opposite the seal, the time travel passport panel preserves Jonah’s original mission entry: destination coordinates, traveler identification, and temporal clearance authorization exactly as logged in the archive. Printed in museum-style typography across aged parchment textures, the mug feels like a field document retrieved from the expedition vault—evidence that Jonah continues navigating history’s worst moments one disastrous incident at a time.
